Subject: Games Workshop - Plastic Sisters and other White Dwarf leaks
I have a feeling we won't see anything for Tau or 'Nids in this series, I'd really be suprised if there was more than a dribble of ork involvement (more like just obstacles thrown in the way, or raiders of opportunity).
This is an IOM/Chaos story, I imagine the only reason Eldar were pulled in is because of the recent Eldrad mini they wish to push.
It never ends well

The series is called "The Gathering Storm".
Saying that it is "an IoM/Chaos story" is a bit premature. The first book("Fall of Cadia") obviously was the IoM/Chaos...but who knows what else is going to happen?
During the events of the 13th Black Crusade, we had the Tau starting another Sphere of Expansion. We had Orks making their way to the Cadian Sector, spurred on by Abaddon, for "Da Big Fight". We had Tyranids encroaching on the Eastern Fringe.
There's a lot of room for the other factions to get involved.

Don't forget that the Necrons have been awakening and even the Silent King has been seen fighting Tyranids (alongside Blood Angels).

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.

Seriously, here I am refreshing the page hoping something will come of that "Plastic sisters got snuck into the WD pics" rumor a bunch of pages ago.
"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I don't want to make a YMDC thread as the rules aren't out 100% yet but I've been thinking about Belisarius Cawl's rules interactions within Cult Mech formations.
The rules we've got here say that he can replace any tech priest in any formations, however, i wonder if he will count as a tech priest for rules purposes.
For example, the Holy Requisitioner formation states that "This formations kataphron breachers do not scatter when they deep strike , so long as they are place within 6" of this formations Tech-Priest Dominus."
Does this mean then, as the rule specifies a Tech-Priest Dominus, that Belisarius Caw wouldn't apply as, going by GW's specific data sheet wording, he isn't a "Tech-Priest Dominus"

Of course they have. The need the models painted for the YouTube tutorials as well as the web site and box art.

This is one of those cases where there's an exact words interpretation, and the fact that you might be overthinking it by arriving at that exact words interpretation.

Haha, I was scouring the WD but I cant see anything. I've CSI'd every picture with Sisters on it and you just cant tell. Unless its a super tiny model in the big army overview picture in the BR.

That would be correct.
If you look at the image, there's pale flesh underneath of the straps for the Crossbow Pistol and nothing about that image matches up with the shadowed silhouette we got from the Fall of Cadia book.

Oh I agree I'm over thinking it, I stand by the "RAI" that all is fine and no problems. I just figured that if I spotted it, then someone will definitely kick up a stink over it.

Think of any detatchment and his rules are going to apply to the whole army. I can say for a fact- THIS guy is that sick.
His rules are better. You would be using his rules. The other detachments that you have the Mechanicus with is just the icing on the cake, and you will use the techpriset rules along with Belisarius Caw as a buff of rules. What we are seeing here is an devolution to the old 2d Edition way of putting an army together, with the new and improved confusion of 7-8th to 9th rules. It sucks, but in the end, I can see them going away with the "Only this and this in an army" schtick, and going to - You can add anything you want, ( Such as in Warmahordes where different combinations compliment, or detract, depending on the choice.)
We haven't even seen discussion on adding in a titan, and adding Caw along with it...
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

What plastic sister rumours? It's been confirmed there is no plastic sister rumours. That seems misleading now to say "plastic sisters" since I would take that as a range instead of just the HQ choice. Maybe it's time to close the thread then?
Nope, not really, for several reasons, including:

Fair enough. I took his statement though as here he though there was news for new plastic sisters and disappointed he didn't see any because of so much page activity. Just a bit puzzled on your stance since when this was going on in prior threads, you would lock them or tell people to stop. Like in this instance actual rumours for Plastic sisters. But I am not a mod, I over stepped my boundaries and I apologize.

It slightly irks me that Blood Angels, (Nor Dark Angels, or Space Wolves) are listed as options to run in that detachment, as I would dearly love to field my Vostroyan Imperial Guard along side my Blood Angels and an Imperial Knight in a coherent Detachment with fun bonuses (Hatred, at least, and the ability to bring troops back on the field one in three times on average is pretty cool) that helps both factions and doesn't use Allies.
Sadly, only the regular Space Marine book is mentioned.
I get that sometimes the Death Company freaks people out* but man, I really like that Detachment.
Oh well.

You know what irks me? There is a picture of a Skitarri ranger right on that page. Skitarri are explicitly excluded. Did Simon Grant see the final draft of the pages before they went to print? He writes the rules, but apparently has no discussions with the art team.
EDIT: if you could possibly take Skitarri ....
HQ: Coteaz Celestine
Troops: 1000 points of Skitarri, 700 vanguard, 300 rangers
