Which Khorne Daemon formation is more competitive? I use to have a KDK army but sold it off awhile back now I'm looking to collect a pure daemons army but don't know which codex/suppment to run?

Also thinking about mixing 4 get started boxes (2 nurgle 2 Khorne) and running a mixed Daemon Cad. Made a 1500 point list in the list forums couple days ago but no opinions of it yet.

Thanks in advance!

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Murderhorde: hounds are one of the best Daemon units and a kitted out Murderhorde just makes them even better.
A Herald with the Crimson Crown and Hatred loci leading a MurderHorde, supported by Karanak, gives the leading unit 6 attacks each on the charge at S5 and the Herald gets 8 attacks on the charge at S7 ap2. Makes for a nasty, extremely mobile, cc unit.

Grab an allied detachment with D-Thirsters and/or Tzeentch psychic support for a rather competitive army.

How's the herald keep up on a jugger?

Hounds move 12", so do juggernaughts. Why wouldn't he be able to keep up.

Heralds of Khorne who aren't on a mount are as good as useless, unfortunetly, so always get juggs for your Heralds.
