Hey all,

Just wondering what people think about reinforced deflectors on a Palp shuttle. I haven't seen it in many lists, but I'm not completely sure why.

Is it just that sensor jammer is so much better that it doesn't make sense for the 1 point savings?

I've been thinking about it in terms of the Carnor/ Stele aces, but I also wonder if an Omega Leader/ Vessery build could have the points for it also.

Also curious about it on other ships... Ghosts seem to usually go with fcs, but what about other ships with a system slot

Pretty much. Reinforced deflectors is a blank card if you only take two damage from a shot, sensor jammer works on every shot.

As for other ships, FCS is just much more effective than an occasional extra evade result. Ships other than Palp shuttles are expecting to be shooting every turn, and FCS makes those guns hurt.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Sensor Jammer is great IF people take shots with no focus token.

With carnor, it's amazing. With others - it can force annoying choices on when to spend focus tokens - but it's less garuanteed to trigger.
