I just want to know if this list is even legal since the new releases.

I wanna add more sorcs to toss melta bombs with the spawns.

The only thing that's changed in the new releases is now your cyclopea cabal gets VOTLW for free, and every turn hatred against imperials.

To add more sorcs you could take two cabals of 3 . Just have to be careful which sorc is from which cabal when getting the bonus dice .

I would try not to take more than three detachments/formations.

how should i reducce the amount of detachments in my list.

I have 36 spawns. 18pt RH spawns are the best.
I have the Knight titan more as an expensive distraction carnifex.

I have 3 bikers but can trade or buy 3 more. I chose the cabal biker sorcs as a poor mans mauler fiends to deliver melta bombs and str6 hits while being joined by spawns. there maybe a possiblility to get iron arm for str9 hits.

If only there was a monsterous creature that was also beasts to move 12" per turn. a mc that can have s8 ap2.

If you're gaming are goes for four or more detachment then it's no big deal, go for it. I think the above poster was referring to the fact that a lot areas use ITC and thus are restricted to three detachments.

It's an interesting list for sure and one that will throw a lot of people for a loop. My only suggestion would be to:

1.) Take a few force axes for AP2 force goodness. I'd suggest 3 axes and 2 staves.

2.) Add ML3 and spell familiars to as many Sorcerors as you can. Better chance of getting the powers you want and more reliable casting.

3.) Run a Double Gatling Knight. Seems you have enough ways of beating stuff up that the dakka would be more useful than a few D close combat attacks.

So that's 60 pts for spell familiars, 125 for 5 more mastery levels which would take you to 1810. Might have to drop a unit of spawn to squeeze the Gatling cannons but i think it's worth it.

Make 1 spawn unit big and throw you bikes in there to buff it into a death star. agree with astro on the weapons and mastery level.

@captyn_bob is the free VotLW only if you take a mark?

R and H spawn come cheaper but you can only ever take them in units of 3.

All of the legions get free VOTLW if you follow their composition rules.
For Black Legion, you can still take marks. In fact the only restriction is no named characters other than Abaddon. So this list is fine. Enjoy the extra 25 pts.
