Hi everyone
First post on DakkaDakka! I wanted to show of a recent model I finished. Ive been working on it on and of for a very long time. I bought the Baneblade about 2 years ago and always wanted something more from it. I love the Fellblade model and thought maybe I can make the Baneblade look like the Iron Warriors got their hands on it and changed it up a bit.
Ive learned some new techniques with the paint job and tried out some new stuff so be gentle  Anyway, here it is!

Looks pretty awesome, especially the main gun conversion. However, I'm not really a fan of the sponson weapons, they seem a bit rushed. In all honesty just replacing the Bolters with Lascannons and keeping the actual structure of the sponson the same would be a better option.

Welcome to DakkaDakka, and well done! This is an perfect example of something the IW would "liberate". Reminds me of MiniWarGamings Perturabo Tormentor.

What about a little more rust around the black/yellow parts to add a bit of grit?

Thanks. Definitly want to rough it up a bit. Just waiting for paint stock at our local hobby store!
