Absolutely, I love skirmish games and have been looking for a good fantasy skirmish game but just couldn't get into Frostgrave because of the only-wizards-matter emphasis, especially since the henchmen were essentially throwaways, you just bought better versions instead of gaining XP themselves. That, combined with being too human-centric for a fantasy game kept me out of it, all the cool monsters and fantasy races were things you ran into instead of played as. I need more elves and dwarves to fight along with the humans, go full D&D or don't bother for a game like this
IMO. The actual figures have been OK so far, nothing amazing but solid pieces. The original pictures of the gnolls were ghastly, but if you look at painted figures they actually look much MUCH better than those early pictures
I DO love the idea of playing a fantasy pirate crew where the captain is some demi-god descendant. The art piece and what little story there is so far has a very Exalted
RPG feel, which I'm all in for. Certainly one I'll be keeping my eye on.
