My friend is looking at getting into competitive Dark Angels lists but isn't wanting to use the free Vehicles. How much would he be hamstringing himself by doing so and what kind of competitieach lists have people been using?

How about a Ravenwing Strike Force full of Black Knights, MM Attack Bikes and Grav Bikers with a Greenwing CAD with 2 grav devastator squads in rhinos.

Brandon Grant has shown Dark Angels Battle Company can win Grand Tournaments. Aaron Along and others use Dark Angels at the core of a super friends death star. Ravenwing can do well but I don't think it's winning GT's.
