Hey everyone.
There is a tourney this weekend and my friend and I signed up. We haven't done any 1850 competitive yet and I can't decide between two lists.

War Walkers 140pts
2x all with starcannons
Wraithknight 325pts

Just subtle differences. The first list has more anti armor, but the second has more ap2 weaponry. Some input would be appreciated!

Personally I prefer list 2, but with some changes, provided you can do those changes with the models you have available. So I'll run through the list in the order you presented it:
6 x 5 warp spiders - fine
Farseer - drop the singing spear, he'll be sitting with jetbikes all game so really should never be in range to use it.
Autarch - drop all wargear and take a jetbike instead, even if the autarch has got a warp jump generator it can't flickerjump, and so the unit of spiders he's attached to can't flickerjump either. So he's better off on a jetbike, and for the same reasoning for the farseer's spear, drop the fusion gun you'll never be in range if you're playing it correctly and the banshee mask as you'll never be charging in.
5 x 3 scatbikes - fine
War walkers - they're fine in this loadout, but to consider my final suggestion you'd have to drop both starcannon war walkers and take star engines on the remaining walkers (+3" to run moves) perhaps split them into 2 single units as well
Wraithknight - under itc ranged D is nerfed (I believe) so take sword and board with double scatter lasers, or have you considered a skathach wraithknight with double deathshroud cannons?
Add in a void shield generator with the spare points. It protects your jetbikes and war walkers. The reason why I suggest star engines on the war walkers is because they have battle focus, so they can move outside of the void shield range to get a better angle, shoot and then run back into range of the shield.
Small changes but a pretty solid list. Hope this helps.

I'd take the first list.
Scatter lasers always served me well. The more dice rolled the better.

These are some great ideas! I usually use the autarch as a single model to deep strike and to take some sort of armor out the turn he arrives. I've always debated an autarch on bike.
The only reason why I put the singing spear on him was cause I had left over points, haha.
I saw the nerf to ranged D. Kinda disappointed with that. The ranged D was my only reliable way to deal with high armor. Big benefit to sword and board is the invuln. I'll take that.
I'll take all your suggestions into account and see what I can come up with.
