As the title says, I have a question about the FW Death Korps Command HQ Squad (https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-US/Death-Korps-of-Krieg-Command-HQ-Squad?_requestid=1706615). I'm getting ready to build an all new Astra Militarium army and love the look of the officer from that set. I'm willing to buy the whole set, just for the officer but I'd want to swap the head out. The description makes no mention of different heads so I'm thinking it's all one piece. Can anyone confirm if it is or isn't? And if it is, does anyone have an idea of how hard it would be to take the head off and replace it with a different one?

The head is attached to the body. Take a look at the last image there--that's how it comes. The head wouldn't be too bad to remove if you are careful and take it slow.

Help me, Rhonda. HA!

It's all one piece, and as Gordon says above, the head should be fairly easy to take off. The only slightly difficult part being making sure to not take off bits of the collar with the back of the helmet (which would also be easy to cover up anyway). However, do keep in mind that the proportions for krieg are a bit different from most GW guard models, and ranges in general, having smaller heads limbs with more accurate proportions. So make sure the head you do end up using isn't too oversized before you go hacking away.

This. DKoK are true 28mm scale, GW's plastic kits are "heroic" 28mm, which means ~28mm height with exaggerated proportions (especially in the head and weapons). Plastic heads will NOT fit the DKoK models.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

It's actually a real problem for me right now trying to mount on some plasma guns. Those things are ridiculously massive in comparison.
