About a year ago i started this hobby collecting bloodbound.
i LOVED the hobby part of it and finally got to find someone around me who also collects aos! (hard to find in a small town )
anyways. he's been playing for a while and wants to play a 1000 pts match and i got no clue how to build my army, so i'm asking here!

Just got my books in the mail (khorne bloodbound tome and generals handbook)

This is what i currently have:

AOS starter set (khorne side)
-
20 bloodreavers with Reaver Blades (120 pts)
5 blood warriors with goreaxe gorefist (100 pts)
1 Mighty lord of khorne (140 pts)
1 Bloodstoker (80 pts)
1 bloodsecrator (120 pts)
1 Khorgorath (80 pts)
-

start collecting Khorne bloodbound
-
3 Mighty Skullcrushers with banner, horn and axes (160 pts)
10 bloodwarriors with goreaxes, banner & goreglaive (200 pts)
1 slaughterpriest with hackblade and wrath-hammer (100 pts)
-

Gorechosen boxed game
-
1 exalted deathbringer with ruinous axe (80 pts)
1 skullgrinder (80 pts)
1 slaughterpriest with Bloodbathed axe (100 pts)
1 aspiring deathbringer with goreaxe and skullhammer (80 pts)
-

Extra boxes i've picked up on the way
-
5 Wrathmongers (180 pts)
20 Blood reavers with Meatripper Axe (120 pts)
1 Skullgrinder (80 pts)
1 Exalted Deathbringer with Impaling spear (80 pts)
-

heard from someone that having range is smart although bloodbound has none.
one more thing i notice: the start collecting box has some special rule and the aos starter set comes with some special rules too that i can put into my army. do theese cost extra points to take advantage of?
and do i get something bonus for choosing pure khorne bloodbound instead of mixing for example demons into the army? just wondering cuz i got skarbrand for christmas xD

TLDR;

i'm a noob! i got khorne bloodbound stuff.
the list is above together with points: halp please!

Well, I'd consider two Bloodsecreators.
When spaced out correctly, they increase the survivablity of your infantry.

I'd take a proxy.

For first game I'd say don't worry about the list. Take some stuff that you think looks cool feels right or have ready to go etc. Focus on just playing the game and seeing how it flows in practise. Expect to lose if the other person is more experienced/competitive etc, but after a game or two you can base your list on your actual experience of seeing what you face etc.

Plus if the other guy is your only likely opponent for the time being it is probably better to see how it goes against him, no point going by internet lists and the like when your 'local meta' is one other guy and whatever he has and the sort of scenarios/games he like to play.

That said the blood secrator you have is a key guy for bloodbound.

PS if by extra rules you mean the battalions, then if you are using the match play points in the GHB they do, it lists the costs of the various battlions.

As puree says, check the GHB for battalion points. Some are invalid in match play and do not have a listing in the GHB foy that reason.

Here's a quick 1000p list to try out for you:

Aspiring Deathbringer (general) to add extra attacks
Bloodsecrator to also add extra attack
Slaughterpriest w. Axe for mortal wounds and forcing enemy closer
Exalted Deathbringer for another tough guy

10 Blood Warriors
20 Blood Reavers
20 Blood Reavers
5 Wrathmongers to take care of any monsters/hard-hitting heroes

This list has both durability and damage output, but lacks speed. If you play on a 4x4 gameboard, like many 1000pts games are, its not quite as important with speed.

Let us know how it goes!

heyo i used Attillas list and i had a blast i started in a sort of bad area having to run between 3 large sceneries creating a small valley.so i got shot on from there between the two people i played against losing a lot of reavers after they started charging eachother i ended up finding out that my blood warriors could do some hefty damage with wrathmongers, aspiring deathbringer and bloodsecrator nearby my first attack with them did 20 wounds. and their ability had a fun moment where i lost 2 blood warriors, they attacked after getting mortal wound and brought down 3 liberators with them. we didnt get to finish the match but i ended up having a lot of fun for my first match
