As the title says, I see multiple people talking about getting him to cast it twice but I am not sure how they are doing it? Can Magnus choose to cast any power twice? I know he doesn't have the staff of ahriman so I am not sure if I am missing a rule somewhere but everyone online seems to talk about him doing it twice.

He knows two powers which are D beams.
One is his special power and there is another on the change table.

To clarify, only one power is a D beam. The other is a D small blast. But they are unique powers, so he absolutely can cast them both, but not the same one twice.

Gaze of Magnus = D beam
Prismatic Gaze = D shot (but not blast)

If your opponent has any units that shoot D, Magnus can use Treason of Tzeentch to use them to shoot with them too.

Thanks, my mistake, thought it was a blast, knew it was at least D. At any rate, knew it wasn't a beam.
