I've got a Silver Tower box and a bunch of Thousand Sons stuff. Which models (the demons and such, not the heroes or goblins and such) would work best with the Thousand Sons and which should I stay away from?

Thanks.

Well most of them can work in some fashion, the Tzaangors obviously work as.. Tzaangors

The Gaunt Summoner can be used as an Exalted Sorcerer or a Tzeentch Marked Sorcerer.

The Ogroid Thaum can be used as an exalted summoner or DP (Maaybe too small for that, might wanna check first)

The Acoyltes can work nicely as Cultists

I'll be using the Acolytes as Cultists for my Thosand Sons Army, the Gaunt Summoner will most likely be a Herald of Tzeentch, The Ogroid will most liekly be used as a Daemon Prince, though I may add wings to him. The Familures would make good.... well... spell familures.

The goblins aren't the best quality minatures gw has ever produced but they could be converted to cultists if you have some spare parts.

Inactive, user. New profile might pop up in a while

Awesome! Thanks for the help.

One more quick item. This sacred number thing. Nine? Is there any benefit per unit or is it just by formation? If per unit, does that number include the sorcerer leading the rubrics or just the rubrics themselves?

Ogroid is perfectly fine as a DP! Grab some cheap feathered wings (like from Reaper Bones) and slap em on. Mine is on my painting table now, and he's perfectly fine in size.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

The sacred number for each chaos god, used to be a coll aspect of Chaos. Now it's a lame gimick to try and get you to field a ton of units. The sacred number used to apply to the squad size, if a factional unit (Death Guard, Noise Marines, Rubrics, or Bezerkers) ran a squad at their god's magic number, they got some upgrade for free. I think it was a free aspiring champion or something like that. It counted total squad size, so Aspiring sorcerers counted to (8+1 for a Rubric squad). As for now, there's no point running a squad by those numbers, unless you find it cool or it helps with some OCD compulsion.
