DE at their best can be worse than orks/IG at their best at 2000+ pts, because orks and IG have usable formations that just require obscene amounts of points to utilize. At 1000- pts I think DE are better. Not sure how things are ranked at 1000-1850 pts.

Hardest army to win with has to be Dark Eldar.
Ranged weapons kill them like flies.
Most models are too hard for them to kill - even with poison.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

I am going to go with Blood Angels mainly because in competitive play it matters what the meta is and Blood Angels will forever be countered as Battle Company is a thing that is commonplace in the meta. There isn't anything in the BA codex that I can see that would give them any sort of an advantage so they are trying to play a similar game to other Space Marine factions with worst options. In the case of Orks or Dark Eldar they both operate using weapons and statlines that aren't regularly fielded which gives them certain matchups where they come out favorably. Plus Dark Eldar has a lot of meat (pun intended) in the Haemonculus Covens formations that can be quite effective and throw a wrench into the works of a good amount of armies.

Tyranids and chaos space marines, then orks and dark eldars if played without experience. Also some armies with very poor number of units available like tempestus and sisters are not really weak but without allies they won't stand a chance.

Except non-grimoired daemons. 5++ dies in droves to poison.
I'd argue that daemons with their near non-existent vehicle range is in trouble against a competent general with DE. Of course, a grimoired unit of 20 seekers or dogs or a screamer-star will chew through em. But greater daemons and bigger beasts fear poison. And anything short of a Daemon factory/grim'd unit should be sweating.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I think the army I had the hardest time winning with was Imperial Guard. Maybe it was because it was my first army or because I wanted them to do something they weren't capable of, but the only army I did relatively okay against was Orks.

On the other spectrum, I feel like I cannot be stopped when I play as Dark Eldar so who even knows.

Drive closer! I want to hit them with my sword!

The thread outright says which is the hardest army to win with. You need to at least have a chance to qualify.
