Hey guys,

Have not played in years and was thinking to start again...does the Triumvirate of the Imperium be any good for imperial guards? Those models are quite amazing, especially that Caw guys from the adeptus mechanicus...if not what can I do to make my guards comeptitive, from what i read, they are far from what they were in the 6th edition...

Im going to run the heck out of the Castellan detachment, you have to have allies (in this case ill take scions) and all your troops (and I assume dedicated transports) come back on a 5+ and INquisitor Greyfax. Im going to run a ton of MSU foot guard with scions in tauroxes that all have a chance to return to the field.

Craw gives everyone in 12in canticles, which means everyone gets stealth shrouded and such. Also Celestine can give other units fun bonuses, such as giving your baneblades It Will Not Die
