Been putting it off for a long time but just about done basing my most my army and have to admit it does make them look a lot better!

My question is should I base the small clear flying bases as well? Talking about the ones that come with some of the smaller Tau suites or the Necrons tomb blades/ghost ark?

I kind of want to say no because they're supposed to be clear and give the appearance the unit is flying. To base it would just make the stand stick out more..........Do you base yours? Thanks

A new day, a new time zone.

If you want to.

I base mine so that they match the rest of my army.

I never bothered. If I were going to do that, I'd use regular 32mm and 65mm round bases in place of the clear ones, and texture those instead.

I never have, but when I see them they look really good. So, do I base them? No. Should you base them? Maybe. How did I vote? Yes.

I have based mine, yes. I hope the plastic pegs never break off, though. That was a lot of work. Maybe I should have bought the metal ones that that one 3rd party dude made or something.

I do, it's easy enough and I find it looks better than the ultra shiny disc of plastic even if it doesn't match the table's terrain.

That said, do what you want. No one will fault you for not doing it.
