Alec Asher gets his 2ND start with the Os tonight. Let's hope he can get his 2ND win, as well. But Chris Sale is coming in for the Sox with a 1.19 ERA over 37 IP so it's gonna be tough.
Then again the Sox have given him just 4 runs in support so far, so...

Watching the game and they were just now talking about the BP session today: he broke a TV in one of the terrace restaurants in Center-Left field.
Better get stock in Samsung (or whatever brand TVs are all over Yankee Stadium), and anyone who produces any kind of stadium light fixture, since he broke some lights at Fenway on a foul ball this last weekend

And the dude is only 25. He's going to tear it up for a long time, if he can stay injury free.
Did anyone see the triple play in Boston?
A muffed catch turns into 3 outs.
Madness:

I'm pretty sure you'll find idiots like this all over the place.
In fact, in this very article:
Jones has listened to vulgarities and racial taunts before in Boston, just like he has at several other ballparks in his career, but this night was more painful.
People caught doing this - along with any of the other idiotic behavior - should absolutely be ejected and/or arrested if they committed a crime.
Racism is, sadly, a learned behavior, so hopefully we'll get clear of all this crap someday soon.
The Boston fans gave Adam Jones a standing ovation at his first at bat last night. Very classy, sincerely.

Yep, classy.
But then he got tossed for arguing balls and strikes! Ha!
I heard that. My workmate told me the umps were instructed by MLB to take zero gak during the game, because things appear to be getting increasingly tense between the two ball clubs.

Ask and you shall receive.
White Sox tomorrow!

Looks like the Os have bounced back to the top spot in the AL East, and are getting the better of the Nats, which is no small feat, the Nats are the real deal.

Ubaldo pitched a great game, but... Buck needs to ask less of him. I get nervous if he pitches more than 5 innings, when the opposing team gets 2-3 looks at him he tends to get lit up. Luckily the Nat's have a Pony League level bullpen and the O's took advantage of it.
Now to do the same in DC!

Strasburgs giving up bases early. Wish I could watch the whole game but I got a meeting tonight.
Automatically Appended Next Post: It's weird to see Weiters catching in a Nat's uniform.

Make it so!
Pretty healthy lead! In the AL East, The Os and Yanks keep topping each other for 1St place, while the Red Sox have slipped to 5 games back. I wonder if things will end up leveling out this way. Still alot of season left, but it's looking like the AL Wild Card might come out of the East again this year.
They're a hard team to not like, so sure, it would be something to see!
Coming in last place 3 years in a road netted us a lot of high draft picks. Looking at our AAA team and the guys on the current roster, I'd say our new owner did a HELL of a job selecting his scouting team!

Same dude who's built the current Cardinal's farm system before moving to the 'Stos.
The Cards had a nice 6 game win streak on the road. Weird stat - this was the first time ever for the Cardinals. o.O
