Hey Boyz!
I'm theoryhammering an Iron Hands FW dreadnaught army and I'm a bit confused about dreadnaught attacks stat and DCCWs.
I'd just like to clarify some points.
The Relic Leviathan has 4A base.
If it has 2 seige claws it gets +1A.
If it has 1 seige claw and 1 seige drill does it still get +1A?
If it has one of each, can I choose to use one or the other and still get all its attacks?
Also, I've read in forums that GW errata says all dreadnaughts get +2A.
EDIT: found this errata, only Blood Angels, Space Wolves and Grey Knights get this. Correct?
Cheers from the Jakman

Yes on all accounts. As long as neither or both of your weapons are Specialist Weapons, you.always get +1 Attack, and may choose which one you want to use. The FAQ applies to pre-Modern Space Marines codexes, which had dreads listed at the attack stat of '2' that was universal in 6th ed, before GW gave them a much needed buff that still doesn't make them good.

Wait, so the FAQ is old and not in use anymore?

I believe what he said was that the FAQ is still good but only applies to those codexes you listed because they are old codexes...

Yeah, the +2 Attacks thing isn't really a "FAQ" or rules clarification but a "lets update all the other dreadnoughts to the same level that the C:SM dreadnoughts have been "patched" in the 7th ed codex". Basically all dreadnought rules that came out after that are already "fixed", so the +2 is already included in the stat line.

The leviathan attacks come built in with the extra attack from two close combat weapons, acccording to the leviathan rules page?
