I had a lot of fun with this kit, and as GW forced the models in the kill team upon me to get a paper version of the rules it became converting time.
First time that I made a base with polymer clay and that I took on a conversion that actually changed the posture of a model (the marines feet and gut coming out)
This is what an ultramarine should look like in the face of chaos. Afraid and dying!
Blood for the Blood god!
These are also on here:

Really fantastically done.
My only gripe is a bit of realism.
Regardless of if the marine's top half was ripped from a pinned torso, or he was simply torn in half in the middle, there would be a (very noticeable) amount of blood as one half was moved away from eachother.
It's pretty jarring that there are just puddles under each half, when the lion's share of blood and guts would have quickly drained during the initial separation and trailed with the motion, rather than waiting until the body was held in two places to suddenly dump pools of blood on the ground.

You are right, I will add that extra trail of blood.

I like the paintwork and I like the idea...the marine torso doesn't work for me. Looks extremely awkward/stiff and not...collapsed or pained or genuinely real. I think it's probably a limitation of the pieces you're working with.
