I read something yesterday that I can't seem to find again that there was an addendum to the allies in transports FAQ, that something along the lines of, astra militarum, militarium tempestus, and inquisition can share transports.

Anyone know where that was from?

And isn't it a little odd that they partially fixed it, but only for some of the armies of the imperium not all?

It is only for Imperial Aeronautica Valkyries, I believe.

You may be thinking about the addendum to the Imperial Agents book.

There is a faction and formation in that book who's sole purpose is to give a unified Valkyrie profile to serve as transports for the various inquisition and associated forces in that book, but because it separated them all into different subsections, they technically couldn't be used that way, that was updated to give those Valkyries a specific exemption from the rule allowing them to transport those specific factions in the book.

Ah, thank you everyone. That's what it's referring to then, just that formation.
well damn, wish they'd have included all armies of the imperium in the addendum, it'd be awesome if my skitarii could have used it.

What you don't already have the "easy button"? You need the "easier button" now? I hate to see if you play Tyranids or Orks.

Kidding if it didn't come out like that.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

You know they can still use it, right?

The only thing the rule does to you is it prevents you from starting embarked on the valks. You can still embark on a hovering one turn one. It's not ideal, but skitarii are the hypothetical beggars in this 'beggars can't be choosers' analogy.

Furthermore, you can now just take Valkyries without having to attach all the other requisite guard stuff to your army in order to do it.

Plus if you take the "Aeornautica Imperialis" detachment it basically gets to reroll its chance to come in. If you were taking them anyways its a great way to make sure they come in on turn 2. Regardless it is quite a shame that skitarii do not have a reliable way to get transports. Then again why pay for robot legs if you're not going to use them, right?
