RAW wise it can be said super heavy flyers are unnafected by Macro Cannon shoots (as the rules clearly rules them out while those clearly point to Gargantuan flying creatures)
But i think you must apply a *crash and burn* result wich it's the same as explodes but for flyers , so you resolve it as 1d3 Hull Point loss (notice FGC takes 1d3 wounds like suffering
ID result) if the SHF loses it's final hull point resolve the Catastrophic damage if not it keeps flying as normal.
