Maybe an oversight, maybe not. But yes, RAW tartaros can't take 'em, which is lame. Either way, TO THE EMAIL-MOBILE! ;P
They have yet to specify that standard is Indomitus, but that is likely the case. However, what we do know is that Cataphractii is specifically called out, so Tartaros would have to be as well - otherwise it would be a more blanket statement like "all models in any terminator armor" or whatever. That it states specifically two of the three "types", means it likely wasn't an oversight, but an intentional way of keeping 3++ of sweeping Terminators.

Its probably something they missed when they updated the books. Tartaros used to just be standard Terminator armor after all.

I actually think cataphractii was called out due to them having the storm shields be cheaper on them since they have a better invuln save base, if that makes any sense outside of my head
Beyond that, I've sent an email FW's way, and I'll post it up once I get it (probably a new thread to stop derailing this one).

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field. |

It has been emailed about before. But definitely email again. Gives them reason to address it in an FAQ.
