Here are my two Chapter Commande Augustus Dio & Marcus Valgus in cataphractii and artificer armour respectively. These are some of the first models I have painted after around an 8 year break. C&c welcome but be gentle.

Liking your paintwork I'd maybe see if you can dress up the vases a bit as they currently aren't on pay with your paint job on the minis

Hi D4V1D0 I always tend to leave bases because I can never decide what to put down haha. I was leaning towards a red dirt something reminiscent of mars?

My ancient "lab"

These look pretty good to me Stomlin! I like the blood effect on Augustus, and the sword looks well done for Marcus. My few stipulations are pretty minor. The sword positioning is pretty awkward, it looks like he's riding it!
Second, Marcus has a lot of gold on him, i'd suggest putting a little more white on his pack, and brightening up his head, the skin tone blends right in.

Thanks for the feedback! I will go back and maybe put a thin layer of a paler flesh tone over the skin and highlight the cheeks and nose a little more as he does seem to blend into his armour.

I am going to pop this over to the regular P&M thing, showcase means completed completed, so including base done. Looks good though man

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Looks great.

Yeah id agree sword looks abitawkward but I'm no master modeller and got some awkward looking models too

The bloood effect is good and whites nice. It's a trickey colour to master.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Thanks dude, yes the white was a pain but as I've got older I find it a lot easier than when I was young, lots of thin layers seems to do the trick for me
