Hi, I'm looking at picking up a modular gaming board. If anyone can point me towards something they'd recomment that'd be great.

I need a 6'x4' multi-part board that's suitable for 28mm scale. I Don't have the time and willpower to make one with the amount of converting I do.

The Tablescales Tiles range from Secret Weapons Miniatures is the best I've seen from browsing so far. The only thing I dislike about it is the very orthographic layout of the river / ditch sections. A few diagonal sections in there would do it wonders. If anyone has any better recommendations please pass them on, be much appreciated. http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=125_127

You might be better off using a plain 4x6 flat board and then throwing a battle mat on it. There are a lot of different designs out there and company's to buy from. Then buy some Battlefield in a Box pieces or some premade and painted stuff from Ebay or other sites.

Good luck

How about hiring some terrain builder to do it for you?

Thanks for the pointers folks. After much deliberation I went with the Tablescapes tiles from Secret Weapons Miniatures.

I agree on the river/ditch. I sort of wish they had an option to just get a mix of the non river pieces for a 4x6 table. That would be great. I hate that river and is basically the reason I never purchased tablescapes.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I might acquire some extra tiles and modify them to diagonal / more organic river sections. OR scratch build them.
