On the assault squad without the eviscerator, I wouldn’t bother with the vet sarge. 10 points for an extra chainsword attack? Not worth it IMHO. I’d rather spend those points on a pair of flamers for the squad. Or find the points to give him a power weapon.

Overall I think you are a little light on AV. You have the grav devs, which are nice. Besides that, it’s just CC. At 1k, you are probably going to be fine, just my impression.

The Veteran Sergeant is the one with the Eviscerator. So it's not an extra Chainsword attack, it's an extra Eviscerator attack.

Anyhow, I also have the Triumvirate-any idea if it might be a good idea to slot them in anywhere?

It’s not the first squad, but the second. Unless I’m reading your list wrong. No problems with a vet sarge with the tankopener.
