Hey guys,
I recently did pretty well in a local tourney, but now I'm headed to the big leagues of ICT and need some help with my list!
The idea is alpha-strike and blow them off the table. Please let me know your thoughts.
Main Detachment: Grey Knights CAD
HQ
Celestine
Troops
GKSS (bare...)
GKSS (also bare...)
Heavy Support
NDK with teleporter, incinerator and great sword
NDK with teleporter, incinerator and great sword
NDK with teleporter, incinerator and great sword
LoW
Draigo
Allied Space Marines detachment
HQ
Librarian
Troops
5 Scouts with snipers
Heavy support
3 Grav Centurions w. Grav amps and omniscope
Deathwatch Formation from IA
Troops
5 vets w. 3 frag cannons and 2 meltaguns+bolters in a drop pod (sounds pointless but they are NASTY)
I really had to squeeze to get the third NDK in there, and it does leave me with 2 strike squads with nothing to do...
The general idea is that first turn they'll have three dreadknights shunt at them, Celestine drops her OB, the deathwatch drop and either template/bolter infantry or blow up a vehicle, while the Librarian gets prescience and joins Draigo and the Centurions who GoI across the map and drop their payload.
What do you think? Are too many points wasted on troops tax? Is the alpha strike too soft, meaning I'll get hit hard back? If I can take out the major AP2 threats with the alpha strike, most of my army will be running around with 2+ saves and decent mobility.

The NDK's would be nastier with psilencer and/or psi cannon.
Psilancers are great vs. multi-wound models or units.

Perhaps a drop pod for the Centurions and put the librarian in there too? They have pretty short range and getting them to within 12 inch makes them vastly better, 9 bolters vs 18 bolter shots with re-roll. I would try and drop them behind the GK:NDK's and help them pick off what they fail to kill. But i think against faster opponents like Aeldari they might just run away from you in their first turn and then slowly pick you off from range as your army is extremely immobile.

Thanks guys.
Wuest, what would you drop/change to make room for the psilencers?
Vindhand, you don't think that using GoI to move the Centurions around is a good idea? A drop pod is certainly cheaper, but I guess the thought was that Draigo can keep the squad mobile afterwards and obviously Draigo can tank wounds for the Cents.
I guess that against Aeldari I would just hope that I can hit them hard enough with the alpha strike when the shunting / gate of infinity / drop pods hit that they don't fully recover and can't handle all the 2+ saves.

some things I see that need to change.
NDKs need psilencers. Also you can save points by going hammer instead of swords.
SMs would benefit by going White scars and adding Hunters eye to the libby. now your Cents ignore cover.
Gating Cents are fine I guess but if your going to GoI you might benefit by adding 1 or 2 more cents. Massive amount of shots ignoring cover that can split fire (sgt)
Libby should be lvl 2 to get Divination.
I wonder if you should consider going SM CAD with skyhammer annhialation formation with a GK Nemesis Strike force.
Changes your list a lot but.. now you drop 4 units on turn 1 and shunt 2 NDKs in your opponents face. You also do not rely so much on powers.
