Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

I want to build my blackshields as having white armour, i was wondering what colour to use? I currently have them base coated with ulthuan grey and fully done. I just want to know what colour should the armour trim and shoulder pads be? My only restrictions are that they dont copy other legions and that they look really nice. Thank you

Pink would be unique. No other legion uses that color. Or blood orange. Or a tannish brown.

Look, there aren't a lot of 30k legions, so it shouldn't be that hard to NOT copy another legion and still look nice. As for uniqueness, what YOU paint will always qualify as unique, because that's the way art works (unless it's forgery). Don't agonize over perfect or unique. How good your minis look will always be more a factor of how good a painter you are rather than the colors you chose. White doesn't look great with every other color, but it doesn't clash with any other color either.
