So here I present to you a rather odd list but was wondering if it could actually function competitively at all:

Emperors Talon Recon Company:

Armoured sentinel squadron: 165pts
3x Armoured sentinels with autocannons and hunter-killer missile

Armoured sentinel squadron: 165pts
3x Armoured sentinels with autocannons and hunter-killer missile

Armoured sentinel squadron: 150pts
3x Armoured sentinels with plasma cannons

Armoured sentinel squadron: 120pts
3x Armoured sentinels with heavy flamers

IK Household detachment:

1x Knight warden with stormspear rocket pod

1x Knight paladin with stormspear rocket pod

1x Knight errant with meltagun and stormspear rocket pod


All the sentinels can outflank if I wish they get preferred enemy against 1 unit (whatever the plasma cannons want to shoot at) and I can select one to be a character and he can issue some orders

But anyway do you think this list could have any chance in a competitive event?

I would enjoy to watch that game. I have been out for a while though, do they count as scoring ?

Yes, everything in 7th edition counts as scoring (unless otherwise stated) so the sentinels can outflank to get the harder to reach objectives

It's different ill give you that... Id like to read or see a battle report after you try it a couple times... They only thing I could see as an issue is those Hunter Killers... That's a lot of points for a one use weapon...

The good thing with hunter killers and plasma cannons is that formation gives preferred enemy.

However I think admantium lance would be a stronger detachment then a knight household detachment. It would make the knight much harder to kill. You lose obj secured on the Knights but gain rerolls to charge and rerolls to ion shield w d3 hammer of wraiths which are nice at str10.

Those sentinels however will get rocked by a close combat list. It's a fun list though.
