A basic list made with a good number of the models I own for a doubles tournament coming up in a few weeks (I've got some Terminators and more Tactical Marines kicking around but I don't think they'd suit a doubles game too well). I'm aiming for a fluffy list that is friendly enough but still capable after all I have no idea who I'll be paired with.

The Librarian is a basic support HQ that'll probably just stick with the Devastators, which have tank hunters and are honestly a little overkill for 750 doubles but they're what I have and I'm trying to keep this WYSIWYG. I'll probably combat squad with Tacticals with the Power Fist and maybe not the other one as I want a solid objective holder. The Kheres Contemptor is a designed to rule the mid-field with it's ludicrous volume of fire.

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated as always. Thanks lads.

Footslogging the tacs? I think you might be better with smaller squads in boxes.

And as much as I like HBs, you might be better off with specials, rather then heavies.

For the same points I can get 2 five man Tactical Squads with Plasma Guns in Las/Plas Razorbacks with 10pts left over. Perhaps give one of the Sergeants a Combi-Weapon?

I can easily nick unpainted Razorbacks from my Blood Angels so there isn't a model problem too.
