Hello and thanks for taking time to help me out.

So I found a bunch of old warhammer models in my attic I forgot about that where all boxed up.
There was a bunch of flamers a couple flat fish things from tzeench the changeling and the fw greater daemon of tzeench.

So I was wondering if they are worth starting do to the new release.

Here are my questions that matter WAY more then how they play because they may only be played once or twice in their life span.

Is the new greater daemons of tzeench, scale wise the same size or smaller then the fw one?

Does the battle tome mention a make up of his rank and file of a tzeench army? They mention in the end time book khorne has is 7 leagues of bloodthristers and what they do. One hunts champions one is psychotic ext ext. is this in the battle tome for Tzeench?

Is there a rough guide in the book of a lord of changes army? In the ork battle tome they mention things like, this warboss tends to ride the dragon and wear this armour. He also tends to travel with mostly boar boys type of thing.

Basically I want to know if the book tells me what a warband is suppose to look like so I can buy all the models and get a scene for tzeench.

I will do the best I can help. I am not familiar just getting into Tzeench but will do my best.

I can't see why not. Just go on the GW website and get the stats and rules for the minis that you can match on their page. Or down load the Age of Sigmar app and look there. You don't have to spend any money right now.

I don't know how big the Forge World version is. All I know is the new version is quite big now. I was putting together the finecast one which was taller than some of the minis, but the new one just blows it in height. All I can suggest is look at the GW site and look at the pics to see the size difference. I can't see no problem you using what you have. Most people shouldn't have an issue using "counts as" or what not.

Not sure about rank and file. There is no rank and file in Age of Sigmar. All units have to be is within 1" of each other now. So if you want to rank and file them you can. They get no benefit for doing so now.

I am reading the guide now. There is fluff in there. I don't see nothing like "a warboss wares this, or tends to ride that". Everything is on the "warscroll" or "cards" as I call them. Again these rules are all free on the Age of Sigmar app or download from the GW website. What the Battletome does have that warscrolls don't are artifacts and allegiance abilities. It also has formation abilities. If you have this unit and that unit you can do this then.

Yes it does tell you this. It tells you how some clans are made. I will double check this, just in case I misunderstood what you mean and will edit this if I am wrong or can confirm.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Canada

I think by "rank and file" he means "core", now known as battline.

You have to take horrors.

There are things called Warscroll Battalions. They tell you what units to take and then what effects you get for taking it. Not sure if this is what you were looking for or not.

Read this link. https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/715026.page which links to this that has a lot of pics.

I don't think it can be better explained or reviewed. I hope this helps.

Not sure if this will help but you can see the colours they used for the Lord of Change.

*edit*

Try these as well. At least this way you get GW colour paints which seems you are looking for. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=games+workshop+painting+tzeentch
