Hey guys, I just came out of a painting competition today, with neither of my 2 entrys making it to the top 3 So my pride took a bit of a hit, but I want to use this opportunity to come back next year bigger and stronger.

So I bought a Stonehorn/Thundertusk box today, just to paint it up :p I was hoping to gain some Intel on the Beastclaw Raiders in general. Looking for insights on culture, environment, stuff that I can really reflect in the modelling and painting of this model. I have an old ogre kingdoms army book from when they were relatively new, but I'm not sure how much of the fluff, if any, would apply to the beastclaw raiders.

Thanks in advance, any and all information will be greatly appreciated!!! I'll probably start a painting blog within the forums once I start this project Should help keep me motivated throughout the year.

Got you covered I did a lore thread and a post on beastclaw raiders. What I find interesting is that beastclaw raiders are technically a mork faction.

That was a good read! Thank you. I have a sort of image in my head now haha Initially I had thought of modelling the Thundertusk on the edge of a cliff, but I'm thinking now that he'll be beside/in front of a heng stone, surrounded by trophies and offerings to the Ogors. This could change, of course :p

No problem mate it's why I did the thread.

Yeah, a good rule of thumb is to ask Loremaster Shinros if you're in need of AoS information.

We need to petition GW to name a AoS Bestiary after him.
