Until Perturabo comes I wont field my Iron Warriors but I think its time to build a different legion, problem is which one? I love both the models, Gulliman (with helmet) and Magnus. I am asking you guys to convince me to build one or the other. Right now im on the Ultramarines side.

I’d hold off a bit until we find out what RG’s rules are like.

If you want to pick up one of them due to an intrinsic draw, then just go with your heart. If you want to see how each would fit into an army, we don’t have enough information at this point.

I voted Magnus. You can't buy such an ugly model such as Guilliman !

How can we discuss this without Guilliman's rules? if we're talking purely from an aesthetic / lore perspective, the answer is obviously Guilliman, because chaos cannot win. Burn the heretics.

I'd wait for more infoirmation, barring that, it depends on your army and what direction you wanna go, long term magnus could supplement your iron warriors (deploy him, along side a sorcrer and 2 squads of rubric marines along side an iron warriors warband for example) gulliman is good if you genuinely want a new army.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I already bought Magnus and won't be buying Guilleman so I am probably biased. However I always found Guilleman to be too good, too pure, too noble. Makes my skin crawl.
The one eyed, horn nippled daemon all the way.
That argument should be the end to this discussion : )

I've been playing a while, my first model was a lead marine and my first White Dwarf was bound with staples

Hard to argue with horn nipples.

Guilliman is far from perfect. His flaws are just a little subtler then most of his brothers’.

Because *shock horror* some people look at things besides rule deciding units and armies? Guess how far rules were of concern when I decided on what legion to collect for 30k? Low enough I took peek at them(on battle scribe) after ordering models. Picked up legion based on what I liked look and fluff wise.

You get an exalt. I chose Orks based on aesthetics and fluff myself, certainly not for the rules.

I agree on waiting but I was hopping that once the rules come out I am already ready to make up mind. I like both models although Gulliman will have a helmet.

One of the unseen primarchs obviously.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.
