Hello everyone,

I have been a lifelong Warhammer 40K fan and enthusiast. I just made a Warhammer 40K helmet and would love to hear your thoughts.

The helmet is made of automotive clay, foam, wood, and plastic. It is all hand made and includes a battery and motion sensor lighting system. It weights about 45 pounds and is about 16” by 16” by 24”.

I'd like to post this to other forums, but this was the only one I could find. Sadly, it appears our community is small. If you have any other advice as to where to post, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I am also considering selling the helmet if anyone is interested.

man....

that is cool!

I take it tho you can't actually wear it tho?

And I've no idea where you'd post elsewhere tbh - maybe look up cosplaying?

Pretty slick - very well made. Only criticism is the eyes are very far apart. If you do another/more, definitely bring in the join between the eyes. From head on, I think it'd also be a bit more striking with the larger ear-muff sections (which stick out a bit to the side of the helmet).

Heck of a job, and bonus points for the lighting.
