Hi, I'm having two issues. One regards priming with vallejo surface primer (brush om polyurethane), durability is already a known problem with these but it can be helped by mixing in parts of future (pledge). Much worse is the fact that small bubbles keep showing up and dries on the surface of the mini wish spoils the paintjob. I've watched your Youtube tutorial om brush priming but even after stabbing the mini with brush, bubbles keep on coming. I don't thin the primer except in a few cases when I did test av mix of 4 parts primer to 1 part pledge.

The other issues I have is two brush blending, I only use one brush but I rinse it very quickly after applying paint. I find it hard to get the blending brush moist but not wet. Is this why saliva is considered superior room water? Is drying retarder a bad thing when it comes to this kind of blending, I know most people don't need it but willl it make blending easier or harder? I find painting goes fast enough but I'd like more time during the blending phase.

I don't think I can teach you to paint to awesome levels, but I think I can answer these questions.

Yep. Bubbles are a problem when you brush on vallejo surface primer. I find that it helps to use very gentle brush strokes, with the softest brush I have. That means using the expensive kolinsky sable brushes, not synthetic. Also, don't shake the paint pot, use a stirrer instead.

Drying retarder is a good thing especially when using a small brush. Also, are you using Vallejo Game Color paints? They've got an additive that causes them to dry very quickly. Can't help you with the moisture problem - I struggle with that myself.
