Hey guys, in a batrep i watched the dark eldar player talked about the formations he brought (he had three different ones) but in my codex theres only one at the back. Where is he finding these formations from? Which book do I need to buy?

I did a bit more in-depth research.
Excluding Apocalypse formations, Dark Eldar have formations from:
Codex : Dark Eldar
Haemonculus Covens Supplement Codex
Start Collecting! Dark Eldar Box

And also if you want to include Eldar/Harlequins in with DE that would have to use the Ynnari formations from the Gathering Storm stuff

There's also one or two from WD that have popped up over the past few years. Kind of hard to track down currently. Wish I could remember their names...

Seems so weird how non of this is like that official with formations. Spread out between books and supplements, then small pieces of card in a get starting box.. iunno >.<

Dark Eldar are fun to play though. The Grotesquerie Formation is pretty well respected among Dark Eldar players.
