According to GW's product description, some chapters still use pre-heresy power armors. Can anyone help specify which ones do?

My first guess would be ones that existed pre-Heresy. That said, any forge world that still has the old patterns could produce them, so any chapter founding could get them.
But who cares? Mk IV marines look awesome. I'm making my Salamanders all MkIV.

Those look great! I much prefer the heresy armors over the MK VII and VIII. Although I think the MK IV looks awesome, there's just something about the MK III that makes it my favorite.

Yeah, they're not covered with skulls and purity seals like the later armors. GW models have gotten way to 'busy' lately.

Pretty much any First Founding Chapter will have plenty of suits of older power armour. Not enough to equip the whole Chapter, maybe only a Company's worth, but they'll have access to them.
Second Founders will probably have some suits, seeing as they also originated in the Heresy. Less than First Founders, but a decent amount.
Other Chapters will have maybe a squad or more's worth, depending on their influence. Chapters like the Red Scorpions have lots of Mk IV, but the Minotaurs have plenty of Mk VIII.

I like the heresey marks of armour.
Mkiv is less busy but still looks great. Mk3 is nice for regular bolter marines etc.
Pretty much all chapters have a mix of armour marks and relics in thr armoury.
Though first and second more likely. MkiV particular. Earlier the founding the more access to rarer marks.
Iv however is still made by a few rare chapters like iron hands and I believe still can make new suits.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

In the Badab War books it's actually often the later-founding chapters that have a lot of Mk3 & 4 in the mix:
Fire Hawks (21st Founding): Example demi-squad has three Mk3 (and a Mk5 and a Mk5/7 hybrid - pre-founding patterns all round!)
Executioners (3rd Founding): Example demi-squad has a mostly Mk4, a mostly-Mk3 and a hybrid Mk4.
Astral Claws (10th Founding): Example demi-squad has two mostly Mk3's (curiously both with Mk5 heads) whilst there's also a separate officer with Mk3 (with a Mk4 helmet and Mk7 backpack - there's a lot of this combination in the Badab books) and veteran with Mk4.
Minotaurs (21st Founding.. officially): Officially have notable quantities of Mk8, of the 8 example non-Terminator brethreen in Imperial Armour 10 & 12 there are two Mk3 and three Mk4.
Exorcists (13th Founding): Example demi-squad has two guys in Mk4.
Mantis Warriors (3rd Founding): Example squad is all Mk6/7 but two separate examples are Mk4.
Red Scorpions (unknown): Mark 4 coming out of their ears - example squad is a Devastator squad yet every guy has a Mk4 helmet and torso.
By comparison the 2nd Founding Novamarines and Raptors are all in Mk6 & 7 (perhaps the intent was that modern chapters favour ancient patterns of armour as a link to ancient glories, whilst those that were actually there have no need).
Also, from Imperial Armour 12:
Angels Revenant (8th Founding): Notable for maintaining a revered core of Mk4.
The example Guardian of Celeres in the 6th edition rulebook had Mk3 legs and torso (with Mk7 arms, helmet & backpack and Mk5/6 shoulderpads)

If I had the option, I would do all of my Crimson Fists in Mk IV Armor. I love the helmet and the arms and have never been a fan of the Aquila on the Mk VII stuff. Mk III is growing on me too.
I am making my 30K Imperial Fists with 30 Mk IV sets (two Veteran Tactical Squads, a Heavy Weapon Squad, and a Tactical Support Squad) and 30 Mk III sets (at least 2 ten man Breacher Squads, not sure what I am going to do with the other 10).

One Marine has, IIRC, mark 3 torso, arms and upper legs, with mark 6 shins.

I'd say potentially any chapter could have suits. Either passed down from older chapters, salvaged from the field of battle, discovered in ancient armories, etc...
Power armor is also modular. You can combine different marks in the same suit.
