After doing SM, CSM and Space Wolves, I can't seem to decide on my next army.
I've constantly flicked through codices and models but really can't decide.

So I thought maybe fellow Dakkarians can help me decide!

I would prefer it if the army:

1) Does not have High-model count

2) Is not dependent on Vehicles, Bikes, Drop Pods(Transport vehicles in general) **Tired of painting metal bawkes and bawkes on wheelz

3) Fun to play

4) Not cheesy!

All suggestions welcomed!

I don't mind if the army is not competitive. More in it for the fun of gaming itself and painting!

Genestealer Cult

Model count is basically as high or low as you want really..

Also dependent on what you count as high

High would be like AM/Orks/Nid variants?

Well With Genestealer Cult you can troop spam hard, or you can go for a mechanized guard feel..

But it is a immensely fun army to paly

Harlequins -

Low (ish) model count.

Inicredibely fun and rewarding to play.

An awesome challenge (painting and playing)

Although you can take skimmers as DT, I think it is better to start harlies on foot with a shadowseer.

Harlequins or a Nidzilla mostly monstrous creatures variant. Those seem to fit all of your criteria, though neither are super competitive at all (no cheese, but also can make for hard games...)

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.
