hey there guys!

Since Celestine can be taken as an HQ for any army of the imperium, I was thinking of getting the model.

Is she usefull for Grey Knights or Dark Angels (my two armies)?
Since she's a jump unit, she can keep up with my bikes / Assault marines as well as deep strike with my nemesis strike force.
She's quite durable on her own, so I could even send her off to take an objective if I really have to.

I'd like to hear your oppinions on the topic!

Sadly, she can only be a HQ for CAD's and Allied Detachments. So if you take one with your Nemesis Strike Force you're good, but she can't serve as the HQ for the Nemesis Strike Force.

That said, if you take a Grey Knight CAD, I feel like she'd work great with some Interceptors. The whole unit would be jump and would have access to two template weapons right off the bat. That's some sweet Jump 'N' Burn. Plus the Interceptors can give her Hammerhand, which let's her hit at S7.

Grey Knights can use her to tank for a squad for sure. Unfortunately, she can't join squads with special deployment rules like the turn 1 deep strike formation.

DA is trickier. She can't jink, so there's that. She can still tank for a squad though. She can't quite keep up with bikes if they turboboost, though.

She's ideal for jump troops and things like TWC.

She can't join Nemesis strike force squads because of her lack of deployment rules.

Oh, ok I got that wrong.

I think she might be an awesome addition to a ravenwing command squad with banner and apothecary.
Ok, she can't turbo boost. But I was always annoyed, that I can't take a company master with artificier armor on a bike to tank some wounds and avoid jinking.
With celestine that would be no issue at all

The idea with interceptors sounds very good as well.
I thought about simply putting her in a squad of terminators with my librarian to tank additional wounds. Plus she could split off and take some objectives or engage smaller units of MEQs

DA captains can't take artificer armor?

They can't take a bike.

Sounds weird. Is weird. Is true.
The reason is (I think) that the only Chapter Master the ravenwing has, is sammael. therefore there can be no other (noname) chapter master on a bike...

Uhhh, yes she can. She just can't turn 1 Deep Strike with them. You start the Interceptors on the board. .

Not to mention I said take a Grey Knight CAD, which means they wouldn't be a Nemesis Strike Force squad.
