I wrote this blog post about tips after speaking to an ex 'Eavy Metal painter and Martyn from WWS.
Do you guys think I missed anything?

Yeah you missed the actual tips besides clickbait and affiliate marketing.

Nothing wrong with CB and AM, next time just insert some true useful tips though, and you'll see it will be more effective. As you did is just blatant and you'll piss off people.

That is literally just a catalogue that used words rather than pictures.

You didn't offer any advice on what to do or how to do it, you offered products.

Dear lord, that's worse than the Regimental Standard articles that have links to the webstore in them.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

As I mentioned in your MWG post, you could do more actual examples, which would do more to help sell your products as well. Tips need more than just here's our products, more tips in how to use your products would help. If you're really writing for newbs you honestly need to explain what static grass is, how it's used, not just here's ours.

I think a careful re-write of your post would probably help 1) actually give tips, and 2) promote your products without being quite so overt about it.

And please fix the first bit, you talk about doing a whole board (which can be anywhere from 2X2 for smaller wargames, to 6X4 for WH40k) and only show basing materials - with no quantity on the bags or indication of size. A 6X4 board can take a lot more flock depending on what you're doing - you probably want to indicate that, as well as note how much you might recommend for such a board.

Anyway, good luck.
