Hello there. What do you think about this list I have for Kill Team?

Veterans: (Grenadiers) (Demolitions)

- Veteran Sergeant: (Bolt Pistol)
- Veteran: (Demolition Charge) (Specialist: Infiltrate)
- Veteran: (Grenade Launcher) (Specialist: +1 BS)
- Veteran: (Flamer)
- 6 x Veterans: (Lasgun)

Veterans: (Grenadiers)

- Veteran Sergeant: (Leader)
- Veteran: (Grenade Launcher)
- Veteran: (Sniper Rifle) (Specialist: Relentless)
- Veteran: (Sniper Rifle)
- 6 x Veterans: (Lasgun)

I have never played "proper" Warhammer 40,000, so I'd be interested to know what veterans of the game think about this list.
I'd say this list is rather balanced and versatile. Highlights:

- It has numbers: Lots of Wounds and Shots/Attacks
- It's pretty tough, thanks to carapace armors
- It's accurate because everyone is at least BS 4.
- It has lots of solutions in the form of weapons: Long range guns. Massed lasgun-fire. Templates. AP2 demolition charge. Melta bombs.

Anyway, I've found this pretty fun to play because it seems to work as a combined arms/all comers list. I've always felt I've had at least a fighting chance.
Any thoughts or suggestions? In the case of latters, I know that the thing is worth two plasmaguns but the demolition charge is non-negotiable.

Spoiler:
I've already played quite many games of Kill Team with this list and won all but one.

If you want numbers, run a platoon command squad, bare, 2 infantry squads, bare, and then add as many conscripts as you can

guard - 2000
wolves - 2750

Hmm, that'd be... 48 guardsmen. That's a lot of bodies and lot of rifles.

But what would they do against a vehicle? Strength 3 won't cut a even a simple APC.

It's good to have numbers but they arent everything. I've fought against both a horde list (that outnumbered me) and a vehicle list.
Horde I was able to shoot/break off the table. Wasn't even close.
Vehicle list gave me way more trouble. The thing just wouldn't die, even though I managed to hit it many times with melta bombs. It was pretty close but I lost.

RIght now, I think IG's strength in Kill Team is the great number of Special and Heavy Weapons it can bring to field. I also like Veterans. They got mad skills.

Huh, I thought you could only use one doctrine per vet squad. I don't have my codex on hand atm but I'm pretty sure it says something like "...may take one of the following options/doctrines."

If you have to go with one or the other, what would you do?

You actually can - it's just not usually very cost effective.

Yeah, I double checked this before building my list.

If I played normal 40k, I'm sure I wouldn't put that many points in one IG-unit. However, the rules are different in Kill Team. Grenadier-doctrine is a real life saver and Demolitions-doctrine is tons of fun. Well placed Demolition Charge can really tip the balance and the Melta Bombs are basically my plan against armor. As per Kill Team-rules, all 10 of my veterans can use their Melta Bombs in the same turn. I've found it's usually pretty hard or even impossible to kill all of them before they are in assault range, especially if I shield them with non-melta armed troopers. Multiple melta hits should take care of any vehicle... at least if the dice agree to play ball but that goes for anything.

Rice doesn't have to grow in water. It will survive being partially submerged, but weeds and pests won't, so that's why rice farmers have flooded fields.
