Quick question, if I have a unit of 2 or more riptides. And say one gets nova and I select nova profile on its weapon, and the other gets nova and chooses the jump move, is that legal? Do both get the 4d6 jump? Or would only one get 4d6 and the other get 2d6 in which case they'd have to probably be rolled separately, right?

My assumption without looking at the exact wording for nova charge is that the one that nova's his thrusters can move the 4D6 and the one that didn't can only move 2d6 and they would have to stay in coherency. it would basically act as a reassurance of getting into cover at the assault phase by letting you play risky with the one that nova's his thrusters and move him further out of cover for improved LOS and get him back into cover with the average higher movement during assault phase.

The nova charge wording only affects the model itself, unlike shadowsuns warlord trait for her and her unit always assault thrust 3d6". so 1 riptide could jump over the other jumping riptide

One riptide can move 4d6 while the other only moves the normal distance, just need to keep them in coherency at the end of their move.
Here's another similar question, if it were one riptide and some shielded missile drones would the same thing happen?

I think that's correct. The drones cannot move 4d6. Yet another reason I think the drones should have been required for the Riptide wing formation
