Hi all,

I've come across a squad of Calth Tactical Marines and I'm not sure what to do with them. I've got a collection of Salamanders, and a squad of Blood Angels.

I want them to still look cool without creating a rainbow of different coloured troops. Any suggestions? I'm tempted to invert the colours of the Salamanders.

You could add them to your existing chapters using those colors and decals.

Use them as pre-Heresy Marines.

Go with a black color scheme such as Black Templars or Deathwatch.

Black armour with Salamanders green accents sounds pretty cool, keeps it coherent. But how would I stop the Deathwatch-style black armour from looking too flat?

Edge highlighting helps immensely, and you could paint or put on a decal of a squad marking and other symbols.

That's not a bad idea. There are plenty of white transfers for squad markings and such. Thanks fellas!

I don't hate myself that much.. Yellow and black wiggly camouflage doesn't look easy. But inverted Sallies sounds good to me.
