Like the title says, thinking about doing a green Chaos Marine kill team. Trying to think of other green CSMs beside Nurgle Death Guard

Chaos, your pretty flexible on reasons.

off the top of my head the most obvious would be potentially the Sons of Horus, not ALL of them embraced Abbaddon and the black legion, we have examples in the form of the True Sons and Wolves of Horus,

Children of Purgatos

Betrayers of Pain is another, but there's almost nothing about them, for better or worse.

I'd suggest making your own; Traitor Salamanders whose humanity and mercy was exploited by the Dark Gods, Sons of Medusa whom no longer could stand the tech-heresy of their brethren, or Invaders whom survived due to switching sides while fighting Daemons on Jollana. Alternatively, go with something entirely different.

I would guess you meant non Nurgle warbands? Because a LOT of them are as green as can be.

There's the Betrayers of Pain. They are pretty bright greenish.

Traitor salamanders?
A ainciant veteran of heresy tricks a group of newer marines by means of experience and such to embrace the dark gods, and they are made to bekive that only chaos can save the people, not the emparor.

There own morality is warped and used against them.

If you're making up a Chaos Marine warband...colour it whatever you want. Some Chaos Warlord just wiped out a planet or two - gained some fans and decided to start his own little "not Black" Crusade. You don't need any excuse to paint these guys whatever colour you want.

Keep the "true believers" in their appropriate colours as allies (i.e. Khorne guys should probably still be red) but your basic Chaos Marines? Whatever you want bossman.
