I'm in & hoping that the biker gang is unlocked. I've seen preview renders of the heads & they resemble a certain Cali gang.

Here's whats available now though:

I love that one of those gang members has the same flamethrower that I have.

Rules summery:
Game Turn is played in a specific order.

1. roll for initiative (gang automatically gets initiative in Cleanse Missions)
2. side that has the initiative fully activates one model (see Silent/Non-silent Activations)
3. all Zombies then activate if applicable (see Zombie rules)
4. gang (or gang with next highest initiative) then fully activates one model
5. all Zombies then activate if applicable (see Zombie rules)
6. this goes back and forth until all living models have activated for the turn
7. Once there are no more living models to activate, work out all close combats on the table.
8. The turn then ends after all close combats have been resolved.
9. Start at point 1 and repeat until scenario objectives have been met.
Dice & Counters

Turf War Z uses mostly D10's but a few D6 will also be needed, the rulebook contains a sheet of Markers/Counters that are used to denote certain actions and wounds:

Charge = red
Hide = dark green
Out of ammo = dark blue
Ready = orange
Shaken = light blue
Infected = light green
Activation = pink
Prone = burgandy
Injury Markers = black
Stunned = yellow
Movement

Movement is measured in inches from the front edge of a models base to the edge of the tape measure. Models may move in any direction they like. Models have a movement statistic, most gangers move at 4” but move double their base movement if charging or running. Movement is also critical in climbing, jumping etc.

Injuries

Once a model takes a wound in Turf War Z, it rolls a D10 for each wound taken and compares the D10 score to the injury table. A model that takes an injury takes a counter denoting the injury taken and places it next to the injured model. A model may carry one of each of the injuries at any time but if they acquire 2 of the same injuries, they are removed from the table. A model taking a head injury is automatically removed from play.

Injury D10 roll

1-3 Leg = no moving on the double, charging or climbing
4-5 Arm = only use 1 handed weapons or in close combat may use two handed combat weapons 1 handed, no climbing
6-9 Body = -1 combat ability and -1 agility
10 Head = knocked out, remove from play
More information on the rules will be featured during the campaign via Updates and Q&A sessions in the comments page.

Any information on the resin "street furniture" teased in the e-mail sent to previous Kickstarter backers? Curious to see what sort of terrain elements they are going to make available but nothing is shown on the KS page.

There is resin scenery on their web site. Given that the two "fatty" stretch goals are already for sale on the site, it could be similar with the "street furniture".

seems to be stuck on £14.5K & 138 backers
It is fully funded & along with the biker gang, the Triads gang, a black gang & an aryan gang have been unlocked along with some acrylic tokens.
Still has 23 days to go so still time for you guys to hop on board!
(btw I have nothing to do with this company - just really stoked about the detail of those bikers!!)

The two sets of character renders look great, but I do wonder how well the details will transfer to 28mm. A lot of those details that look great at this size could easily end up too shallow to be seen.

The other thing is how will they be used? Added to sculpts? Fully digital models with 3D printed masters? Head sprues? I've got a bunch of Studio Miniatures older "character" sculpts and they're a mix of great and play-doh-ish, kinda like some of those "Hispanic Gangbangers" above.

Yeah... clearly these guys haven't actually been to LA.

Our speed signs aren't round, they are rectangle.
Spoiler:

Also, "30" and "40" aren't common speeds posted in the city. Most residential areas have a posted 25 MPH (miles per hour, not KM) speed limit if a school is nearby, or allow 35 MPH. Some larger, and heavier trafficked roads allow 45 or 55 MPH speeds, but those are less common.

Highways ("freeways") are typically 65 MPH.

If you had to pick 2 speeds to put on your signs "25" and "65" might be the most appropriate due to their ubiquity.

We also don't have "Give Way" signs, we have "Yield" signs.
Spoiler:

I'd comment on the models, but this game's setting seems to be based around the worst media portrayals of LA gangs, so I'll leave my criticism to just the signs.

new update:
Hi Folks,
We have made one small change to the £20k and £25k stretch goals....we swapped them over
The Spec Ops Kill team is one unit that we wanted to make sure that we get unlocked during the campaign, so we swapped the position of the Rasta and the Kill Team. Hopefully this will not upset too many of you and if the Rastas don't make the cut this time they will be top of the list for production after the campaign along with the other gangs from last night's update.
Spec Ops Kill Team Heads Spec Ops Kill Team Heads
Other items on the list that probably won't make it into this campaign in time are : female gang blisters (these will be packs of four different female minis, they will be dressed to allow you to use them in any gang to add some feminine danger to your gangs), zombie versions of each gang type (these will allow you to replace any killed gangers with zombie versions during game play), the "Sleeping Dragons" (a modern dressed Triad gang) and the "Loco Lobos" (a differently dressed Latino gang).
Stuart

funding now stands at £18,715 at time of post.

I wish them luck, not much into the theme. However, I do have to bring some highlight to The Terrain Tutor who built a bunch of the terrain for the project. There were a lot of good videos that gave some good information into city terrain.
