Hi guys,
So I recently picked up "Storm of Damocles" by Justin D Hill. I haven't read any of it yet and from what I can gather it features mainly Deathwatch, White Scars and Tau. I know very little about any of them and was wondering if I should do any background reading, especially for the Tau, to help my understanding. Or should I just start and see if I get confused? Also this should go without saying - no spoilers please.
P.S. how pronounce 'Nergui'.

Just from referencing languages that use that kind of vowel combination a lot, probably along the lines of "Ner-g(u)wee" where the "u" is implied but mostly strangled and the g is hard, like in guillotine. Nergwee and Nerguee would both be close enough.

You should be able to just hit the book, and ask around if you have anything that you're wondering about.

Just remember, tau are masters at CC. I know, I've watched assault marines get stomped into dirt by my riptides.
