Inspiration.
In so many forms it hits you...
This time it was a few marauders in the excellent AOS28 warband Malal by Bruticus who pushed me to act.
I found the pictures and started to wonder what bitz were used - and then I dived into my bit box (and also amputated a Blood Bowl player) to create my own take on a barbarian with huge clawed hand
The conversion work was swift, only taking an evening, but the mini did not end up a AOS-mini but someone that would feel more at home at (Tor Megiddo.
Apart from Bruticus, I obviously also drew inspiration from Mad Max, Ash (Evil Dead), Necromunda Goliaths, etc.

If my inspiration holds I will post more image of his killteam soon...

Very classic Necromunda/Blanchitsu vibe. Not my style, personally, but very well done!

Thanks for all the kind words.

Guess the Lord needs a (sweet) ride...

Suggestions on how to improve it (i.e. making it more Mad Max-ish)* ?

*apart from the obvious: adding pintle mounted crossbows

More Mad Max-ish? How about some anti-boarding spikes or barbed wire around it? How about another machine gun position on top of the container? Honestly just look at any screenshot containing the War Rig and think what you could add from that.

Absolutely love it, though! Can't wait to see more of what you do with the infantry too.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Very cool work on both counts, wonderfully Blanchesque.

Personally dont like it on the base as its overhanging but thats my own personal gripe
who is this vehicle for?

because it could probably use some trophies, chains, skulls, weapons racks, equipment storage (like tarps and baggage)

if its for general wastelanders than less trophies and less skulls.

Wow, that is one bad ass dude! Great work.

I have to echo Desubot that the base would look much better if it was appropriately sized for the vehicle. It is very cool though

Another vehicle...

Will definitely consider this - but I think I will build a few more "generic wastelander"-vehicles before deciding which ones will belong to the horde (i.e. be pimped with spiky stuff).

Yep - your comment was the reason why I posted it

Are those bloodbowl conversions? They look really great. Very post-apoc.

Cool looking shieldwall, they have to be really strong guys to lug those shields around
