Subject: Reading reccomandations and opinions about my book shopping list

While my favourite imperial factions are with no doubts the sisters of battle, rivaled only by the blood angels, i have a certain affection for the white scars chapter. The white scars have a really cool design and backstory, but they're mostly ignored and i would like to read more about them.
Have you read any white scars' novel that you would recommend?
Another faction i wanted to read about were the necrons, do you know some novels about them?
I've also planned the stories that i want to read for most of my favourite factions: i already have the 1st Blood Angels' Omnibus and i plan to buy the 2nd one, along with the SoB omnibus (which i heard should come out this year) and, maybe, the word beares omnibus, since they're my favourite traitor legion.
What do you think about my shopping list? Should i add or remove something?

Dominating Dominatrix

For White Scars I recommend their Horus Heresy books (read it in that order): Brotherhood of the Storm novella, Scars novel and Path of the Heaven novel.
For Necrons: Dead Man Walking (not from their point of view but still great read).
For Word Bearers their HH book: The First Heretic.
For Blood Angels: Dante.

regarding word bearers, once you finish First Heretic, look at the HH novel Betrayer, it's basicly a comnbined Word Bearers, Ultramarines, World eaters book.

Wondering Why the Emperor Left
Oklahoma City

Obligatory Night Lords Omnibus mention. It's over 900 pages, and easier to finish than some HH short stories. It's seriously one of the easiest reads I've ever had.
Also reinforcing The First Heretic.

The last book of the word bearer trilogy is amazing.
Dark Apostle, I believe it's called. Haven't read the first one and the second is meh, though. Automatically Appended Next Post: I just noticed you put the Word Bearers Omnibus in there. Well, that's the trilogy I'm actually talking about :p
I think.
