Hi just spit balling a little here...
Any thoughts on them dropping the new rules and stats during war hammer fest at the end of May? This could potentially give us 2 weeks of play with the new rules until 16th June when white dwarf comes out with news on the new starter set and initial model line.
I'm probably being way way too optimistic here especially with the rumours that have come out so far but hey all these previews are getting me impatient!

Current rumour is 3rd of June, the day after their seminar at the UK Games Expo.

I doubt they'll release the rules before the starter set.
Based on WD's release date and the red dates for the staff, I would guess the starter set goes on pre-order on June 3rd, with a release on the 17th (digital rules + physical books and starter set). Then a few weeks of releases (maybe more death guard, maybe new stuff we haven't heard of).

That's been modus operandi for several editions. Probably to maximize sales of hardcover rulebook before starter set with much cheaper one goes on sale.
Albeit maybe they change system for this edition.

Probably since the Core Rules are free now anyway.
The release date would make sense since I see them running out of stuff to post every day about the new edition.

If it's the 10th of June, we will find out tomorrow, as that's 28 days before then. The biggest hint we have though is they bumped White dwarf back to 16th. If it's part of the hype cycle that means we are looking at late June early July, if it's a victory lap, then the 10th is likely.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon. |
