These are representations of mighty characters, heroes and villains in a fantasci-fi grimdark setting. Larger than life characters will probably be larger than life.

The Horus Heresy books describe Primarchs as being just as large to a marine as marines are to normal humans. So nowhere near as large as Robby G's new model is.

Yup. And normal marines are about 7 feet tall, meaning Guilliman would be about 8 feet.

Not 16.

Its a dumb model.

I actually like the model itself, but the scale is indeed ludicrous.

I like to imagine all the doorways that Guilliman has to crough through.
Reminds me of Stoic going in to Hiccup's room

I like to imagine that he makes his honor guard feed him through feet first.

I guess Guilliman is actually way too small.
If you look at the fluffy descriptions of the arches, hallways and what not, with flying, miles-long, hell-traversing cathedrals for spaceships and palace chambers where neither bottom nor ceiling is visible in the gloom, Guilliman should be at least twice as big. Maybe thrice. We don't want to exaggerate. of course.

It's not just that Guilliman is a primarch, it's that Guilliman is incased in a exosuit that covers his original armor and he's a primarch. Effectively he's a primarch level Centurion. That's also why his proportions are so off, because his hands and feet are not inside the out gloves and boots. And that's pretty obvious from both the way the model looks and from the description on how Crawl revived him. I can only assume people just haven't bother the pay attention.

Why he is like twice the height of regular marines? Did GW get a little bit too crazy with his size. He is as big as a contemptor. Doesn't make any sense. Unless the scale is meant to be different intentionally.

Either way looks ridiculous to me anyone else think so?

He's one of the most awful models released by GW since decades. Even if he's a primarch he shouldn't be that big. And the pose is extremely silly.

Also having seen Guilliman on the tabletop now, he's not that oversized really.

The proportions are "off". I prefer the FW primarchs, myself.

There is an in-uinverse explanation why he looks so ugly - but the model is ugly.
