I saw that the local games shop - well the only one in the country so far as I know - is taking preorders for the Sigmarite Mausoleum and I was thinking of investing in it. I understand that it is basically two Garden of Morr kits in a single box. The price seems pretty good and I like the aesthetic and fully intend to use it for 40k skirmish level games and honestly most of all for display. I have little time and maybe less spare cash for hobby so I need to be picky. I am looking for insight and advice from those who are familiar with the kits involved. Is this a good buy and does it look as good in person as it does in pics? Any downside? O I should mention that the price is about 60USD equivalent in local currency so maybe a significant discount?

The kit is fun. We use it quite a lot in games the downsides I can think of are :

-> some bits are kinda spiky I do not like spiky terrain for it do not like being spiked.
-> They are not sized in the same 3" lv height convention

So they are too small? It looks as if a marine could walk through those iron gates in the pics... Is this not true?

A 7th marine could walk trough the gates. The thing isn't off scale or anything compared to the mini's its just that it doesn't play nice with the once universal 3" city of ruin system.
