Most interesting part was in the Facebook comments.
"All models come with a standard weapon, and those are covered in the points cost of the base model."
I wonder what that means for things like Raptors being 17ppm and Warp Talons being 15ppm.

Isn't this the same source that told us power levels didn't take into account any upgrades, then said it took into account all upgrades, and finally that it took into account some upgrades?
What he is saying flat out doesn't work. A terminator at 26 points is twice a space marine tactical. He has double the wounds, attacks, and his gun is twice as effective as the normal marine. Then we take into account he has a 2+ save with 5+ invulnerable and a power fist, and it looks insane. He gets the saves and power fist for free effectively.
Not to mention the power fist (valued at 20 points) and storm bolter (at 2) would account for the vast majority of his point cost, with 4 points left over.
Honestly at this point I'd stop asking that page questions, it's clear they have no actual idea how the rules work.

It is, it also doesn't clarify what a "Standard Weapon" is, it could be that a Terminator comes as standard with just the storm bolter and then yoi have to pay for one Melee Weapon.
It could be that a "Standard Weapon" means just the basic CCW. Or as you say, they could just be completely wrong and are just saying things.

I guess one way to reconcile it would be to say that "standard weapons" is a category that consists of any weapon whose point value is 0?

I found one of the replies in the FB comments very interesting:
"Q: Hey Warhammer 40000, can a single detachment (say, a battalion) combine different armys? For example, could a single Imperial battalion contain both Space Marines, Skitari and Sisters?
A: They must simply contain the same keyword. That can be as all-encompassing as "Imperium" or be really specific like "Ultramarines". The more specific you make it, the more army bonuses you will get..."
So you can indeed have Daemons and Chaos Marines in the same detachment as both will have the "Chaos" keyword.
I'm interesting in seeing what the bonuses are for having multiple keywords in common.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

I'm hoping that there is no bonus for sharing a single keyword since that is the requirement for all units in a single detachment.
I also hope having all units with 2+ shared keyword gives enough of a bonus to encourage themed lists and discourage cherry-picking.

Well, one of the more obvious incentives is that it seems like character buffs don't like sharing factions.
Space Marine characters tend to only affect other Space Marines, Sisters characters only affect other Sisters, Guard characters only affect Guardsmen. In a lot of cases they're even more specific, only being able to affect things from the same Chapter/Order/Regiment as the character.
So if you're mixing and matching, even within a super-faction like the Imperium, or even mixing sub-factions like Chapters and Regiments, the various components of your army won't necessarily play nice with each other.

What's also exciting is that this can be a way to dictate "allies" without needing a matrix

https://twitter.com/GeekJockPete/status/869606848349057024 From the lead designer: "base cost per model does not include weapons." And I very much get the feeling your right about allies. This might make some unfluffy stuff like no penalty for necrons/eldar alliance but just ask a tyranid (or any non-imperial player) how much that sucked if you weren't imperium.
